COMMUNICATIONSCompanies within the Group are currently engaged installing & commissioning service networks of HF message transmitting stations in countries as diverse as China, Brunei, Malaysia, Egypt and Cambodia. Additional transmitting stations are planned to achieve a global network. This network features state of the art communications technology from world leaders Rohde & Schwarz of Germany. GKL are proud to have been appointed independant distributors for Rohde & Schwarz for over twenty years. Companies within the GKL Group are also engaged as Prime Contractors to Radio Television Brunei and are involved in the construction, development & upgrading of the nationwide broadcasting system to provide microwave, TV, HF & VHF services. This work has entailed the design and construction of the tallest structure within in Brunei - a 145 metre high multi-platform antenna tower.
